Veterinary Assistants

Dannie White & “Pippa” and “Ollie”

I have been employed at Rockdale Animal Hospital since May 2008. I have been working in the veterinary field since June 2006. In 2012, I was given the opportunity to act in a dual position of Office Manager and veterinary assistant. (I couldn’t imagine giving up all of my duties as an assistant.) I share my farm with cats, dogs, chickens, bees, goats and donkeys.

Jessica Mayo & “Whiskey”, “Jack” and “Twitch”

I have been employed at Rockdale Animal Hospital since September 2019. I have been in the veterinary field since 2007, mainly in emergency medicine. My husband and I have three dogs (Whiskey, Jack & Twitch) and four cats (Lieutenant Dan, Mose, Squeakers & Kahlua).

Courtney Beam & “Finn”

I have been employed at Rockdale Animal Hospital since April 2017. I joined the Rockdale staff with almost five years of veterinary assisting experience. I grew up on a cattle farm so I have always loved animals and knew I wanted to be in the veterinary field at a young age. I am currently attending San Juan College, taking classes to be a licensed veterinary technician. I share my home with my three dogs (Finn, Snickers and Shorty), three cats (Morris, Chester & Myrtle) one horse and about thirty cows.

Rachel Darwin & “Daisy”

Originally from McDonough, Ga, I moved to Covington, GA about 4 years ago and have been employed at Rockdale Animal Hospital since January of 2015. I graduated high school with honors in May of 2015 as a dual enrollment student and have since continued my college career at Georgia State University pursuing a Nursing Degree. Growing up, I was always outdoors either riding my horses or playing in the dirt. My love for animals has guided me in most aspects of my life, from competing on horses as a child to working in a vet office today.

Bryanna Henderson & “Banks”

I have been employed by Rockdale Animal Hospital since October 2018. I joined the Rockdale staff with over two years of large animal veterinary assisting experience. I enjoy spending time with my daughter, pup and cat, Ziggy, eating fajitas and riding horses. I’ve always had a love for animals and couldn’t imagine working in any other career.

Erica Seward & “Aiden”

I worked with Rockdale Animal Hospital for most of a decade before a move took me out of state. I worked at a couple other clinics for the years I was out of state but was thrilled to re-join the RAH team in October 2019. As many clients already know (I love to talk about my dogs!), I have a whole herd of dogs and a couple cats. Most of my dogs are Ibizan Hounds that I take to dog shows and lure coursing. I also have an Afghan Hound I compete in lure coursing with and a few mutts. I had a long background with horses and the dogs have taken over as my competitive venue, but primarily they are my very loved pets.

Taylor Conner & “Kent”

I joined the Rockdale Animal Hospital family in September of 2019 with 2 years of experience in the veterinary field. I have three of the sweetest dogs: Kent,  Rip & Finley. I enjoy nature and being out in the woods.

Morgan Griffin & “Nova” and “Nala”

I joined the Rockdale Animal Hospital family as the Kennel Manager in November of 2017. After we discontinued boarding, I was promoted to a veterinary assistant/ receptionist. I was born and raised in Conyers, Georgia and graduated from Heritage High School in 2013. My life outside of work is spent trying to keep up with my own furspawns: pups Nala & Nova and cats Bobby Noodles, Rez & Alfred. Animal care is my passion and I’m blessed to be able to live my life doing what I love!

Registered Veterinary Technician

Jordan Brown & “Parm”

I started at Rockdale Animal Hospital as a veterinary technology intern in Fall of 2019. After graduating, I came back to work full time as their sole Registered Veterinary Technician in June 2020. Born and raised in Covington, I’ve wanted nothing more than to work with animals my entire life. When I’m not at work, I stay busy keeping up with my kitten, Parmesan, and my dogs, Odie and Beau.

Our Mascots

“Squish, Squash or Inky”

This creature was brought in after a suspected dog attack. As a result, she has a non-visual eye that doesn’t slow her down! This trouble maker always has the RAH staff belly rolling with her crazy antics. She will hide behind walls/ doors only to sneak attack any unsuspecting victim. She spends most of her time helping with laundry and playing hide and seek.

Rosie

You will rarely leave the clinic without having run into a Chihuahua or two (or three). Tiny Rosie belongs to Dr. Crain. She is a clinic favorite, and we generally have to check people’s purses on their way out the door to be sure they haven’t packed a little stowaway!

Pippa

Look, but don’t touch! Pippa belongs to our Assistant, Dannie. She is a very sweet, loving little girl, but like many Miniature Pinschers (ie: Min Pin), she is suspicious of strangers and does not want to be handled by anyone she doesn’t know. She had a bit of a rough start but she has won over the hearts of our staff. She pretends to be the receptionist most of the time.

Bruce

This sweet boy was picked up by a good Samaritan and brought in for a microchip scan. With no microchip, we searched high and low for his original owners without any luck. We knew from day 1 he was a perfect fit for our clinic. This sweet boy loves greeting clients and being a “cat daddy” to all adoptable kittens.
