Veterinary Services

North Hills Animal Hospital & Resort welcome our patients to allow us to pamper your pet with our variety of services. Our accomplished veterinary staff will diagnose, provide treatment, give nutritional or behavioral counseling, and discuss your pets’ optimal wellness, vaccination, and health care needs. Our veterinary staff also provide dental and surgical care. We have a full in-house lab for blood work, in-house digital radiology, and a full small animal pharmacy/diet center for easy refills of medicine or food. We also offer a luxury resort with various stay packages to help pamper your pet when you are away for the day or on vacation. Our salon and grooming services are designed to make your pet the talk of Raleigh.

MALIA Giro

Malia Giro is originally from Pennsylvania and has always had a passion for animals. She started working with dogs as a bather in high school and went on to improve her skills by attending a comprehensive grooming academy. With nearly 12 years of experience she couldn’t see herself doing anything else with as much passion. After grooming many varied dog breeds in the Raleigh area for several years, she has fallen in love with all the area has to offer. Her favorite part of grooming is seeing how much love the dogs have for their owners when they pick up, and how happy their owners are to see their babies after their spa day. She has two dogs. One named Banx, and the other named Turbo and together they enjoy running, hiking and swimming. We are very proud to have Malia and her top-notch grooming skills as part of our team here at North Hills!
