Specialist Services

On-Site Mobile Specialist Services sounds very fancy, but it simply means that we work in conjunction with specialized colleagues. Specialist Vets come into our clinic to offer additional services without the added stress of travel for your pets. We are happy to include specialist vets for surgeries, eyes, and endoscopic procedures.

Dr. E. Gorodetsky

Dr. Gorodetsky has spent most of his career as an emergency and critical care veterinarian in a busy 24 hour referral hospital.  He has also developed an interest and considerable experience in various areas of veterinary endoscopy.  He has endoscopically removed many foreign bodies from stomachs, esophagi, small and large intestines, noses, lungs, vaginas, urethras and ears. Of course endoscopy is a much safer  option than open surgery which risks pain, longer recovery and increased frequency of post-surgical complications.

Dr. Gorodetsky completed his pre-veterinary studies at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, graduating with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in the spring of 1999. His areas of medical interest include endoscopy, surgery and radiology.

Over the past 8-10 years he has been spending more and more time on the road performing endoscopic procedures in about 300 clinics from Campbell River to Kamloops, Menzies Pet Hospital is one of them.
