Occasionally our pets will start exhibiting strange or unusual behaviour that is out of character for them – from problematic barking to copraphagia in dogs, and over grooming to inappropriate urination in cats, plus everything in between. This may develop over a matter of days, weeks or months before you notice there is a problem.
Our nurses can discuss your problem with you and may be able to offer advice, and then we recommend an appointment with a vet to rule out any underlying medical issues that could be contributing to or causing the problem. We can also provide information to help you deal with, and hopefully resolve certain common problems. For dogs, we are also able to refer you to Susan Morton at Petiquette Animal Behaviour Consultancy.
