Since 1945 Boulevard Animal Hospital and our veterinarians have provided the Raleigh area with the highest quality veterinary care and personal service for both you and your pets.

We have a very experienced team of Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians who love animals as much as you do and understand the deep bond we all share with our pets.

Please call our friendly front office staff at 919-828-7468 to assist you in scheduling an appointment, surgical or dental procedure, boarding reservation, or medication refill. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Care Credit. Examinations are by appointment Monday through Friday and on a walk-in basis on Saturday. We also offer a convenient drop off service during the week.

Our Doctors

DR. LORA EVANS

Dr. Lora Evans was born in Bettendorf, Iowa and was raised in Salisbury, North Carolina, where she graduated first in her class from West Rowan High School. Dr. Evans attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Johnston Scholar, played varsity tennis, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology. She then graduated from the Veterinary School at North Carolina State University as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Evans is active in both the American Veterinary Medical Association and the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association, and has served on the Ethics Committee for the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association . She has developed a particular interest in skin diseases, cardiology, endocrine diseases, and geriatric medicine. At last count, Dr. Evans had four dogs: Logan, Lydia, Juan Pablo Montoya, and William. She enjoys basketball, cycling, gardening, and tennis.

DR. LISA GRECO

Dr. Lisa Greco, formerly Dr. Kingsbury, was born in Connecticut and has been a resident of North Carolina since 1993. She attended both the University of Connecticut and North Carolina State University for her undergraduate studies. While studying for her degrees, Dr. Greco worked at Boulevard Animal Hospital as an assistant. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University and is thrilled to be back as a veterinarian at Boulevard. Dr. Greco has special interests in endocrinology, dermatology, and renal disease. Dr. Greco and her husband find time to raise five children. She also has two German Shepherds, Lexi and Diesel, and a Peke-a-shi, Zoe, to add to the chaos. In any remaining free time she enjoys running, dancing, mountain biking, and loves to work out daily

DR. MADISON WASHINGTON

Dr. Madison Washington was born and raised in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Biology at the University of Central Florida, where she worked as a zookeeper at a local zoo and a veterinary clinic as a veterinary technician. She then graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2019. Since graduation, she has been a practicing general practitioner in Raleigh. Dr. Washington has a special interest in dentistry, cardiology, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. She has a cat named Saint Cloud and a German Shepherd named Laura. In her spare time, Dr. Washington enjoys running, rock climbing, board games, and relaxing with her pets.

DR. DANNY ALLEN

A native North Carolinian, Dr. Danny Allen played football at NC State University before attending the University of Georgia Veterinary School. Upon relocating to Raleigh he purchased Boulevard Animal Hospital from Dr. Ralph Williams. After practicing for many years Dr. Allen is now enjoying his family and friends in semi-retirement. He still drops by to see old friends, and clients occasionally. Even in retirement Dr. Allen is active in the veterinary community with the NCVMA (North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association), AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association), and he most recently received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.
